Le cinque specie sono state rinvenute in mwdgAmerica settentrionale: la specie dall'mwdwareale più vasto è la mweaT. helluo rinvenuta in varie località di USA, Canada e Messicocite-ref-lycosidae-1-0[1].

Le caratteristiche di questo genere sono state descritte a seguito dell'analisi di esemplari di mwgaHogna helluo (mwgqWalckenaer, 1837)cite-ref-lycosidae-1-1[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2015cite-ref-lycosidae-1-2[1].
